P.A.W.S. will host a microchip clinic Saturday, Oct. 5, from 10 am to 12 pm at the new Jefferson Veterinary Clinic east of The Dwelling Place off Highway 30. Cost is $20 per animal.
Appointments will be appreciated. Pet owners are asked to email pawsofgreenecounty@hotmail.com, visit the PAWS Facebook page, or leave a voice message at 515-386-9814 to make an appointment.
A P.A.W.S. volunteer will reply to messaged and confirm information and appointment times. All dogs and cats should be on a leash or in a kennel. The clinic will be held rain or shine.
Walk-ins are welcome, but there may be a wait.
P.A.W.S. and local law enforcement officer suggest microchipping dogs and cats to ensure they are returned to their owners if they go missing and end up at a shelter or vet clinic.
